    Can my child use my Ultimate Game Pass subscription on my PC using their Gamer Tag?


    Just bought my first Gaming PC (since my Amiga in 1990!) after only having Xbox consoles before. I have an Ultimate Game Pass subscription since we bought the XBox, that me and my son can both use, each using our own individual Gamer Tags on the Xbox. I can access Ultimate on my new PC using my Gamer tag but when my son logs in to his Microsoft account on the same PC it is asking him to pay for a subscription - can we share the subscription, with our own Gamer tags/Game saves on the new PC too?

    I have searched around for answers but can't find one that answers this question - thanks in advance for any help provided!

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    I have done everything you have said but once logged into my sons xbox account, it will not play the games that are installed (image 1). I click, but nothing happens.

    And when I try to 'Play with Game Pass' it sends me to the 'buy a game pass subscription' screen (image 2).

    We can share the account on the Xbox but not on this new PC yet.

    Sorry, I misunderstood. My Microsoft store account had to be logged into my sons PC user and Xbox login.

    Is this error message on the PC? Because you mentioned that you got game pass for console, so you can only use this subscription on the console, to use game pass on PC you need to purchase Game Pass for PC or Game Pass Ultimate
