Can i use the Microft gift card on genshin?

I haven't bought it yet so I don't know but I'd like to use it on Genshin Impact

Would only be steam since genshi is only on ps4 ps5 and pc

@op since Its not on the xbox store you are going to have to use steam cards

Are you playing Genshin Impact through Xbox Cloud Gaming or is it installed on your phone? Xbox gift cards can only be used within the Microsoft/Xbox Store, so if the game is installed on your phone then you won't be able to use the Xbox gift card.

Have you tried using paypal, another card making sure it’s not expired. If you tried these go on the microft website to buy it.

You can try contacting support to see if they can do anything, but otherwise, nothing can be transferred between accounts. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us You can check
to see if the skins give the option to purchase as a gift and purchase them with the mother-in-law's account for the kids, but skins may not give that option.
