Can i use my xbox controller on a pc wired?

So when i got the Xbox series s i had a controller, i was always lazy to put the battery's so i used my charge to use it, after some months the controller suddenly stopped working and made a small sound when its plugged in and didnt work anymore. Now i bought a new controller and i am scared to use the controller wired on the pc, my pc doesn't support Bluetooth. Should i worry about it?

I can't see why you need to worry. I've been using my Series X controller between my gaming PC and my console wired without a battery for well over a year with no issues.

I suggest you look into getting your other controller fixed at an computer/electronics store. Or take a look online. We don't allow discussions on self repair on these forums though.

the port is not very strong on the controller, i would get a plug n play charge kit and an official wireless dongle for the controller.

You can definitely use your Xbox controller using a wired cable, Yousef. I myself do this.

You can't, however you can use a WIRED Xbox 360 controller to play games on a pc as the drivers for the wired controller are built into Windows

I used wired when I play PC for both Controller and headset. On xbox, I use a wireless controller, but a wired headset.
