Can i use half controller and half mouse on call of duty 6 on xbox.

But when its changed to mouse i can still move with the controller just cant aim using the controller

Unfortunately this is not possible on Xbox consoles, you must play with a controller or connect a full mouse and keyboard.

When you change the aiming setting to "mouse", the game still allows you to move with the controller, but aiming is disabled because the system expects you to use a mouse for that function.

This doesn't mean you can effectively play with mixed inputs (controller for movement and mouse for aiming). It's just how the game handles connected devices. As I mentioned before, you can only play with a full mouse and keyboard, or with a controller.

Thanks for the quick reply I'm was asking because when i go on cod 6 i can change my aiming to mouse but i don’t have a mouse yet so when i change it to mouse i cant aim but i can still move around i don’t want to buy a mouse and it not work.
