Can I use an app on PC to slow down a game?

From time to time, depending on the game I am playing it might slow down. But I think it is related to the game not the overall UI. Also, think of this console like a late '80s to mid '90s PC. From time to time, it will slow
down when multiple things are going on. You may need to close out apps by hitting start and closing the app/digital game.

The same can be said of my Lumina 925, which shares the Windows 8 OS. And when I don't close out multiple apps, my phone slows down. Now, after most times I open an app. When I am done, I will close the app out and move on.

You can install games on any drive, but I'm pretty sure the Game Pass app needs to go on C:\ drive.

I really wouldn't recommend having a full C:\ drive. Not only will this slow your PC down, but a full drive will make updating Windows impossible.

I do know that downloads are slowed down significantly if there is a

game open; although, this seems to be a different issue.

Like the other users basically already said, can you provide us with some more information. Does it drop randomly or stay that low the whole time?
