    I don't have Minecraft windows 10 edition on my Microsoft account but a bought a disk for it. Am I able to play it on my PC using the disk?

    Xbox discs will only work in the console. You would have to have the PC version of the game in order to play it on the PC.

    did you try to troubleshoot it you can do this by dual-booting the Xbox one and then running Windows 10 from a windows 10 pc then in the pc go to settings then system then troubleshoot then go to memory
    you have to use HDMI if it doesn't work then project the pc to the tv to troubleshoot you have to use a dual booter and a disk burner put a disk and the windows 10 setup on it once you successfully burned the disk you can put the disk in the disk drive and
    then it should work (the Xbox disk drive) you can troubleshoot in windows 10

    Sorry to hear about your problems. Personally, I have never had any issues connecting external HDD’s as long as the Xbox is off when you plug them in. I always use known brand disks (like Seagate) and only use prebuilt external disks. Buying a separate
    disk and putting it in a caddy may run into driver incompatibility issues that PC’s can fix themselves.
