Can I use a UK power supply & plug on a Japanese Xbox 360?

I'm looking to import a Japanese Xbox 360 to where I live in the UK, can I use my UK Xbox 360 Power supply & plug to power the console? As opposed to having to use a step down converter?

Hi, thank you so much for your response. I checked the manufacturer date on the Japanese console I've won. And it's March 2009. My power supply I got with my UK Xbox 360 (was purchased new) is May 2009. Does this mean I can use my original UK power supply with the Japanese Xbox? Many thanks again

How would I check the the models match? Sorry to be stupid I'm just nervous to get it wrong.

Make sure the model of the Japanese console is the same as yours, and it should work.

If you purchase a travel adapter from the UK for US travel then you can plug in your UK 360 power to that and then into the power outlet in the wall when you are in the US. The UK power supply will work more than easily enough in the US as their voltage
is lower than it is in the UK so no power transformer is required.
