Can I uninstall DLC on a Game Pass PC game (fallout 4)

As much as I love the idea of a high-resolution texture pack in fo4, the DLC itself is killing the game. The load times for fast travel/ walking into a building are insane, and the difference just isn't justifiably noticeable. Not only that, but I have a hunch that it's the cause of a bug that stops me from completing the main quest (could be wrong but I've tried everything else short of just buying the game on steam and loading the game files there where they actually have troubleshooting software) by crashing every time I get close to the quest location. It's probably wishful thinking that removing the DLC will squish the bug, but who knows. Long story short, I just want to uninstall the DLC to see if my performance is improved. If anyone can point me in the right direction with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

TL;DR: I'd like to know if I can uninstall the Fallout 4 High Resolution Texture Pack DLC without uninstalling Fallout 4 itself.

How do I get rid of the game pass version (Fallout New Vegas, if it matters) so that I can play from disc and access the DLC? The DLC is installed, but game shows "Game Pass" on launch screen and only sends me to store for DLC.

DLC is on disc 2, so by rebooting xbox and putting in disc 2 I was able to install DLC. I just can't access it.

Because of how Xbox Game Pass works, you have to reinstall the game due to the licensing trying to use the Game Pass version which acts as the definitive version.

Go to My Games & Apps, highlight Fallout New Vegas, press menu (the button with 3 lines) and go to Manage game & add-ons.

Once you are at this screen, highlight Fallout New Vegas again, and press Menu once again, the select Uninstall. This will uninstall the game pass version and you will be able to install from a disc once you do this process. Your DLC will be safe.

yes this should be game shareable.

I get that if we buy using crowns it's account bound.

If we buy from Xbox store games and addons/dlc should be shareable.

For example we use game share we buy fallout 4 digital on Xbox store. We can both play fallout 4 using game share. Later we buy fallout 4 season pass (dlc) and with game share we both have use of it. So with fallout 4 and eso and morrowind both being from
Bethesda this must be down to zenimax. #MakeMorrowindXboxShare

Thanks for the advice, however it did not work for me and the same thing has happened for killer instinct. I also found that I still can install games and dlc, as I installed the new Fallout 4 dlc. So the issue only affects the games that have uninstalled
there self.

I regret informing you, but the answer is yes. It's required for you to re-purchase the game on PC because Fallout 4, and its DLCs are not compatible with the Xbox Play Anywhere feature.
