Can I transfer old games on old account to new account

So my dad made me an Xbox account with his email address a long time ago and he doesn't know the password for that old e-mail address so I can't use any benefits from Microsoft points and whatnot. So I made a new account years later with my own email address. How do I get access to my old games I paid for on my old account so I don't have to buy them all over again on my new account?

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. Without access to the old account, you would have to repurchase the games.

On my new xbox I've redeemed my old account but I've changed the gamertag, I'm wanting to transfer games ext from my old xbox to the new one but the data is owned by my old gamertag can I still transfer from the old name to my new one ????

No. Nothing can be transferred/merged between accounts, but you can set the new console as the Home console for the old account and share the game with your new account.

There isn't a way to transfer your old items/account to your new Microsoft Account. What do you mean when you say you transferred your security settings from your old account to a new account? You can change the email/info of your Microsoft Account,
but your old Profile is going to be tied to that old Microsoft Account, and there are no ways to merge or migrate that data.
