    Can I Swap Gamertag between accounts ?


    Hello everyone,

    My situation is as follow :

    - 1st account has all my data since very first Xbox BETA with old gamertag.

    - 2nd account created some months ago with new fresh profile and data.

    I own both accounts

    I want to use the gamertag from 2nd account on 1st account so I do not lose all my legacy data since the first Xbox, is it possible ?

    I can lose the 2nd account if this make the gamertag available for the 1st one.

    If anyone know how to help me, I would be very grateful Can I Swap Gamertag between accounts ? :D

    Alright, this is sad.

    I was wondering, If I delete the 2nd account and change the gamertag of the 1st account, Will the gamertag of the 2nd account will be available ?

    As I deleted the account, it can be used again right ? Or this doesn't work like that ?

    Thank you for your post. I understand you are looking to transfer one Gamertag to another Microsoft account. This is not possible since a single Microsoft account can only have one Xbox Profile. If you'd like to change the email used to log into your account,

    Thanks for the response. I'm sorry to inform you the option to transfer saved data, achievements and any/or game purchases from one account to another Microsoft Account will not be possible. We currently do not have an available feature. The
    one step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft account. You
    can however set up home console on your main profile. Note: If
    you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available to sign in to any Microsoft services.

    How to copy game saves to a different profile?

    You can`t swap game saves between accounts,they are locked to the account they are played on.

    And i have to agree with don,thats a bad choice of gamertag.
