Can I still migrate or have a refund on my minecraft account?

I tried to log in to my Minecraft account by Mojang login and failed. So I checked my Yahoo mail and noticed I migrated my Minecraft account to Microsoft login, I completely forgot why I did that! Now I can't log in back to my Minecraft because I don't remember the outlook mail I logged. How can I migrate it back? I tried to get the security key but the system is unable to authenticate. If there is no plan to migrate back to Mojang login, how can I get my refund back? I bought the redemption card from the kiosk back in 2017.

p.s. It's new account I made.

It started being made a requirement so thats probably why.

Odds are you probably cant and if you could it would probably have to be the kiosk company that would refund you since thats where it was purchased originally.

It seems that the post-migration process was a one-time offer that allowed users to migrate their Mojang account to a Microsoft account and receive a free copy of Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. If you completed the post-migration process before the December 18th deadline, you should have received a confirmation email from Mojang that granted your Microsoft account an entitlement to Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Regarding your refund request, it's possible that your refund was denied because you purchased the game before completing the post-migration process. According to the Microsoft Store's refund policy, you can only receive a refund for a game if you have not played it and the request is made within 14 days of purchase . If you have already submitted multiple refund requests and they were all denied, it's unlikely that you will be able to receive a refund for the game.

As for having two copies of Minecraft on the same account, it's not possible to have two copies of the same game on one account. You would need to create a separate Microsoft account and purchase the game again on that account.

I'm not logged into the wrong account, although I do have two minecraft accounts, and one of them is working.

My launcher is not out of date, as the other account is working perfectly well, and I always update it anway.

This is definitely the Microsoft account that I migrated to - it worked for a while after migration, and then suddenly stopped working.

I have not received an email about a purchase refund, and neither have I requested one.

I brought this account 8 years ago, and have been using it actively, so it is not that I have not chosen a username.

I do not see the game on the Minecraft log in link that was sent. I also definitely logged in using the correct account type, and I definitely did migrate the account. I still have the email which was sent to me about the account migration.

So back on late 2021 my account was hacked then migrated to a Microsoft account. I have already contacted Minecraft support but they said that they could not help me since my account was already migrated, and that I should contact Microsoft support instead. I still have the transaction ID and the name of the account.

Wait. So you are saying before you could migrate your minecraft account to your own Microsoft account someone else got into your minecraft account and migrated it to their own Microsoft account first?

Is that what happened?
