Can I still access my Fortnite account through another platform if my Xbox account was banned?

I'm sorry to hear that your account was permanently suspended 3 years ago,

Basically, if you sign up for Fortnite without linking an Epic Games account, a "ghost" account will be created that will only be linked (in your case) to the Xbox account, meaning that if you lose access to that Xbox account , you will lose everything in it.

If I'm not wrong at the time of being banned on Xbox it will not delete your purchases unless your entire account has been banned and deleted (I think this is your case) so if you do not have access, unfortunately there will be no way to recover your account (Unless you linked it to Epic Games before).

We totally understand that you want to transfer your progress.

Unfortunately, there is no way to transfer your Fortnite progress from your Nintendo Switch to your Xbox. This is because Fortnite accounts are platform-specific, and progress made on one platform cannot be transferred to another. However, you can still use the same Epic Games account on both platforms, which will allow you to keep your purchases and progress separate but still accessible on both platforms.

Hi, it wont let me do that retrospectively. I have worked out a work around. Ive set my compromised account as my home xbox then created another xbox account. This lets access my content but i can sign in to the ea platforms as a different user and access
the online content. Not great and still means my info is at risk but EA couldnt give a toss.

Thank you for the response but I am completely lost now. From what I understand a console ban means that no account can access the xbox live services. My account still has access but no party so I created another account, low and behold the party does
not work on the new account either.

According to the Epic Games' Fortnite FAQ You must log into Fortnite on the platform you purchased/redeemed the V-Bucks on in order to receive them.

V-Bucks purchased/redeemed on an Xbox console, PC, or mobile can be spent across Xbox consoles, PC, and mobile.

V-Bucks unlocked through the Battle Pass or earned in Save the World can be spent across all platforms. All items purchased with V-Bucks can be accessed across all platforms as well.

Make sure your Epic Games account is properly connected to both platforms.

"Q: Do I still have access to all my items and progress on all other platforms?

A: Yes. As long as you’ve linked your platform account(s) to your Epic Games account, all purchased content is present and all progress is recorded across all supported platforms.

Important: If you have progress or cosmetics on your PlayStation Network or Xbox account, then attempt to link it to an Epic Games account with existing progress or cosmetics, your PlayStation Network or Xbox account will be overwritten. To prevent this from happening, we recommend linking your console account to an Epic Games account when you begin playing Fortnite on your console."
