Can I somehow get missing pieces for my controller?

Return it to the retailer and exchange it for one that does have them

@ jax,jbonyu well i can say that i have never thought about destroying my console but i do have a box of controllers that no longer work, that somehow slipped out of my hand and hit the wall and there are some games that came out of the console that did
not make it back into the box in one piece but that was then and this is now and controllers cost $50 and games cost $60 and I am older ...... now where is that *** controller and that *** disc , i'm going back to playing that *** game

You can cancel the subscription by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/services, from there you can choose to cancel and if you're eligible you can choose "cancel and refund immediately".

If it's not showing from there, you can try to request a refund by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and then copy the order number. Once you have it simply go to the refund webform link here:

One thing I really like about the generations is the challenges that you're forced to complete. I think that this mechanic will really serve to separate the average player from the great players as only the best players will be proficient enough to be successful
with all the different weapons in the game.

I looked for houndsofshadows fix, but I do not fond "compatibility" in 8.1 on my surface.

I had all my pieces sorted out on screen by color and started putting together when I realized that pieces are missing, hidden under the settings panel. "arrange" brings them out, but it also undoes all of my previous sorting. Frustrating to think that
I have to buy The premium version just to avoid this frustration.
