Can I share installed games in an external hard drive across multiple PCs?

In short, can I install games into an external hard drive from a PC and launch them on another laptop? I know Windows apps are somehow different in encryption and stuff, can't be sure if they can be ported and carryied to other machines like some other applications. Do I have to install every game on every machine I will possibly use?

You need to install the games on the PCs you wanna use them, you could theres a way to move them across PCs but you need to move the files from locations to make it work

That process is done by selecting install, then pause it, on the path you choose to install the games copy the game files then restart the download, sometimes it works

Yes my game is installed on an external drive. I also play across multiple consoles and my save does sync across the cloud

Yes you can. The XB1 does support multiple external HDDs attached.
