    Can I set a download speed limitation for games?


    I live in the mid-west in a very small town where internet speed is only 6MB/sec and it would be nice too limit things so they may install slowly overtime in the background while I can still reliably play games; Otherwise It will literally hog the small
    amount of bandwidth I got. I don't mind waiting a day or over night, so long as it installs without interfering too much with my other apps, games, or services.

    I would talk to your ISP and see if they have set limits on your speeds and downloading.

    Check your internet connection speed:

    Check your network settings:

    It is likely your ISP is limiting the download speed. As far as I know and tried, I could download games when I had my fiber connection with speeds between 800mbps - 900mbps. I can do 180mbps - 200mbps with my current connection,
