Can I retrieve a lost save from a second console?

Hi guys. So I play The Sims 4 on console (Xbox Series S), and just accidentally did an overwrite of one of my older saves (I’ve been working on this particular save for months). I have a second Xbox Series S in another room that I play The Sims 4 on as well, and everything on it is identical to the first Xbox. The only difference is I haven’t played on that one yet (I just moved), which brings me to my dilemma. I’m terrified of turning the second Xbox on because I know it will automatically sync data with the first Xbox, and I definitely won’t be able to retrieve the save that I lost if that happens. Does anyone know of a way that I might be able to keep the second console from syncing with the first? I could be wrong, but I believe it’s my only real shot of recovering that lost save, and I don’t want to blow it. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome. Also, let me know if I managed to confuse you…I know this was a lot of information. Thanks!

Same issue-- lost saved game. Couldn't retrieve save from either my PC or Mac while logged into steam.

wow, now THAT'S sad.
first save I lost was at lvl 52 (with like a million credits, tons of materials, and a lot of great weapons and armor), second was at lvl 25-30, now I'm at lvl 25 (yes, my third try) and hoping it doesn't happen again.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to start from scratch, unless they actually find a way to retrieve our lost data.

Sadly there isn't a way to retrieve your saves on Xcloud. If you have an Xbox console, you can try this;

To retrieve a lost save from the cloud, Go to My games & apps.

- Highlight the game.

- Press the Menu button and select Manage game and add-ons.

- Go to saved Data and clear local saves.

- Then, Select the game tile, and then choose Select all to make sure all available content gets installed.

- Select Save changes and wait for the content to install.

- Relaunch the game.

I understand you need help in recovering your lost data.

Unfortunately, once the data has already been deleted or overwritten, this will no longer be recovered anymore as there is no back up saves for these data from the Xbox console. There is no option on the Xbox to retrieve old saved progress if they are already removed from the system.
