Can I Remotley remove my account of an xbox one?

Thank you for posting non Xbox Forums. In regards to your issue with wanting to remove your account remotely from your "friends" Xbox, unfortunately that is not possible. As of yet, we do not have a way of remotely removing your account from any one
single Xbox Console.

What you can do is
Reset your Account Password to prevent this person from trying to sign into your account.

Additionally if you think that remotely removing your account should be apart of the Xbox Console features, be sure to visit the

You can just change your password and this friend would be able to access your account. Otherwise, you would have to psychically go to this friend house and remove your account off his Xbox. This is how you can change your password using the browser:

1. Sign in using your Microsoft account email address and password.
2. On the Home page, under your profile photo and email address, select Change password.
3. You may be asked to verify that you are the account owner by receiving a security code via text or email and then entering it on the webpage.
4. Enter your current password.
5. Create a new password and then confirm it.
6. Select Save.

All you can do is change your password to your account. If you where gamesharing you can reset your home xbox and he/she won't be able to use your account details or your games you purchased.

This did not help as these articals are only for doing this on the same network. I am trying to do this remotley away from home.

I have done all the steps suggested from you, the last one how can i do it? for "removing" do you mean to delete my profile?
