    I bought a gift for a friend but now i dont want to give him the game, can I refund the game?

    Can I get a refund on DLCs?

    I've heard of people being awarded like 1 refund on a digital purchase every year or so, but I'm pretty sure that was on games not DLC

    It says when you buy it. It is non refundable read before you hit A.

    Refunding an item that has not been refunded

    From what I gather, you want to refund your gift cards. Gift cards can not be refunded after they have been redeemed. Thanks :)

    Refund an Xbox digital Gift Card

    I haven't encountered any company that doesn't refund gift cards and Microsoft itself refunds Microsoft Store gift cards, it's only Xbox gift cards that seem to be non-refundable for reasons no one can explain to me. Guess I'm just screwed :(

    How do I access the game if I was not given a code?

    You can request a refund by signing in to https://xbox.com/refunds.

    I would recommend waiting for the email from the refund team before re-purchasing the game as a gift. When purchasing the game as a gift you will see the "Buy as a gift" option.

    Why can't you refund gifts?

    No as they are one-time.use

    As per the terms of the gift once redeemed it can't be refunded

    Gifts can only be refund if it hasn't been redeemed

    If any of those conditions are met.you cannot refund it

    The refund policy otherwise only apply for Purchased games not gifted games under 14 days or 2hours of gameplay

    Gift games.conditions are unused or Same region as the gifter that's it

    This is the same with any giftcard
