Can I refund a game I bought my friend

So I bought my friend a game on xbox and he tried to enter the code but It didn't work and I can't refund it cause it's over 14 days.

Make sure that the code is not yet redeemed and you can try to request a refund by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and then copy the order number. Once you have it simply go to the refund webform link here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/forms/request-a-...

ah yeah thankyou for your time mate. I've bought the Xbox version instead. now ive got to buy an xbox

Check your order history at http://account.microsoft.com and it'll list it there. If you haven't redeemed it, then your friend would need to request a refund.

You wouldn't need Game Pass to play on PC, but if they sent the Xbox version it wouldn't work on PC. But if you've redeemed the code, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
