    Can I refund a game I bought before it was free for xbox Live gold?


    So I purchased the Golf Club 2019 and now it is free for xbox Live gold and I have gold. Can I get a refund seeing as I payed for a game that I could have gotten for free that is exactly the same? If anybody knows anything about how this works I would.

    You can contact Microsoft chat to see what they say. Or go into your account-billing history and check as some people can self refund if within a certain time frame.

    Hello, PilotPicklez!

    I contacted PlayStation Support when I purchased a game on the PlayStation 4 that went on sale the next day or so. Assuming that Microsoft operates in the same way, you might be able to get a refund on your purchase, but that may only result in being credited
    with currency that can only be used for the store. I would recommend contacting Xbox Support and requesting a refund for your purchase while explaining the situation to them.

    No, you are not able to refund game.

    If the game you purchased is not on your account longer than 72 hours and you have not played more than 2 hours.

    As far as I am aware I have not been able to refund any of my digitally bought games so I assume its unlikely
