    Can I redeem a code for a console I don't own?


    I have DLC for pre-ordering the Master Chief Collection and the code expires in April. I do not own an Xbox One. Can I redeem it on Xbox.com and it will work on my console once I buy it? I would assume so, I just want to be 110% correct.

    I can not redeem a code

    I try to redeem my 25 digit code but says that the code is not active and asks to contact the merchant to keep the code, I went to the place I bought and they said that I have to settle with you.

    Unfortunately if the code wasn't activated by the retailer, we're unable to help with that. Apologies for any confusion. Please let the retailer know the returns and exchanges for inactive codes are something that is up to them and not us. Thanks!

    Minecraft not loading on Xbox one

    When I got my Xbox one I had a digital code that came with it for Minecraft. I enter the code in months ago and now it's telling me that I don't own the game and it wants me to buy the damn game again. How do I fix this without buying the stupid game again.
    I even tried re-entering the digital code but it said that the code has already been redeemed. It makes sense because it was redeemed with my console, but my console is still saying that I don't own the game. Please tell me what to do before I sell my console

    Two of my Games have disappeared and say I no longer own them.

    Were the games on the console when you bought it or did they come as a code? Consoles don't come with games pre-loaded, they would have had to be redeemed on an account. If you're not using the account that redeemed the codes, you wouldn't own the games. In that case, you would need to buy the games in order to own them.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have a question on redeeming codes. You should be able to redeem the code with the game still installed. If it shows you don't own after redeeming code,

    power cycle     the console.
