Can I recovery old 360 account?

Hello, i felt like being nostalgic recently so I bought a 360 after my previous one was destroyed. which brings me to my problem my old account is on my hard drive which when I installed into my Xbox gave me the idea to put my 360 account on to my Xbox one x but the problem is I am missing my email and my password so now I'm stuck up shiz creek with no paddle and see my account as lost forever (even though I still have it and can use it) is there any way for me to change the email and the password for my account therefore I can move it to my newer console?

Hi,

it's very easy. Try to log in on Xbox live with the related email and click on 'forgot password'.

The system will reset your password and will send you an email with a link where you can choose a new password.

And don't forget to write it down. ^^

Unfortunately if you don't know any of the other details connected to the account you wont be able to get it back.

They need something to verify you are the owner, or anyone could phone up and claim they just couldn't remember the address.

If you're not able to recover the account in that way, you may need to create a new one. This is because no one at Microsoft can view or change the account details for you, this is for security policies.
