    Good afternoon all, I have a serious problem. I have an account that I currently play on that I have had on my Xbox since the day the system released when I was young. (The fact that I was younger will be important) I have since made a new email considering the other one was childish and I needed one for work use. I completely deleted the other one as it was interfering with my phones ability to receive mail. So through google I deleted the gmail account that is associated with my current Microsoft account. The only place the email is still in use is on my current Xbox, and I didn’t switch the accounts email, or even think of the fact that now I can’t log into the email to recover or change the password. I got the new Xbox for Christmas and would really rather not lose my account if it’s possible. I have proof that it’s my account based on the fact that it’s on my Xbox, linked to my card, and I know the email it is currently linked to. Thank you and please help!

    OK, I have a suggestion that may or may not work.

    You would have to create a Microsoft account from scratch, a new account and try to add that Gmail account that is on the Xbox as a new Alias in that Microsoft account.

    Add or remove an email alias in Outlook.com

    That would be the only way I see of trying not to lose the account you have on your Xbox.

    You could also try to create a Gmail account with the same email you have in the console, but perhaps the Google system does not allow it or even if you create the account, it will not be associated with your old data.

    Correct. It only exists on my current Xbox one.

    Hello ScittMole, your case is really different, from what I understand you used a Gmail account to log into the Xbox and now you deleted it from Gmail.

    In other words does it only exist on your console?

    as you said my email on the account might have been changed on my old account so how can I fill out the recovery information? wouldn't it only help me recover the account if I know the new email the hacker used? I'll fill it out anyways though, even though its the same email I have on this account currently.
