    Can I re-enroll back into the same Ring after leaving Insiders temporarily?


    So, I'm in Alpha Skip-Ahead ring in the Xbox Insiders program. Recently an update has been posted stating Xbox Insiders (starting with Skip-Ahead) will be getting rid of Mixer prior to Mixers actual shutdown.

    I'll be unenrolling from the Xbox Insider program during the duration of the month to continue to use Mixer from my Xbox, although my question is, can I re-enroll back into the program afterwards at the same level I'm currently in (Alpha Skip-Ahead)?

    Hi,

    At the moment the new Xbox Avatar Beta is available to those in Alpha - Skip Ahead, Alpha, and Beta. When you open the Xbox Insider Hub, it should show under announcements the ring your console is currently enrolled in, can you double check to make sure
    its within one of those rings listed. If so, it should show under 'Insider content' with the option to enroll in the app beta.

    If you need to change the ring you're currently enrolled in, please go into 'Insider content'>Xbox One Update Preview>Manage. You will be given access to the rings you are currently eligible for.

    Let us know if it still not showing after checking your preview ring.

    If you're enrolled in the Insider Program and the console is registered, you will still get the insider updates. I would recommend logging in or "signing up" for the program to check the app to verify that your console is in the enrollment that you want,
    be that in a release ring, or not registered for an insider build. You can have the app and be an insider without having an early release build ring assigned, and is great for providing feedback to the team when you encounter an error regardless if you're
    on an insider build or not.

    So I would say yes, especially to check that it is configured in the enrollment you want.

    What preview are you in?

    Using the Insider hub >Manage should state what you're enrolled in.

    Most of the time a factory refresh is required when leaving, changing a preview ring or leaving Insiders altogether. You will need the account details and passwords for all accounts that are set up on the console now to set the console back up after the factory refresh. Your games and apps shouldn't be affected unless you decide to do a complete factory refresh and delete everything. Xbox Insider FAQ
