Credit card payment problems

I used when I Hou on January XBOX ONE credit card to buy Gold membership, but the first of May when I receive an email telling me in the first of May to cancel the gold membership, I thought I was a month gold membership purchased the wrong month or six
months, so I re-use credit card payments instantly purchase a year gold membership, but the next day I received reconfirm my email cancel gold membership, can he help me to follow up?

There is no such thing as a free one year gold membership. Either your friend purchased a membership or was given or won a membership and is pulling your leg. If you would like to play online multiplayer games then you'll need to purchase a membership
to do so.

Sorry to hear it. However, currency from gift cards cannot be used to purchase a gold membership. For future reference you can only use a credit card, paypal or a pre paid membership card purchased from your local retailer.

I dont know if it is a geographical issue, but in here money from gift cards can be used to purchase gold membership.

Sorry to hear it. However, gift cards and Xbox currency cannot be used to purchase Gold memberships. You can only purchase memberships using a credit card, Paypal or a pre-paid Gold membership card.

You cannot use your account balance to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription. You can use Xbox Live Gold membership cards. They come in one month, 3 month, and year memberships. It's the same kinda thing, a prepaid code that gets redeemed to your account
and adds the number of months you have purchased. The gift cards with the dollar amounts that get added to your account cannot be used to buy a membership
