You can play Xbox 360 games offline if you want, you would not need a subscription for this.

If the game won't play at all it's your Xbox 360 that needs to be fixed. So just to recap on this the game works for say 30 sec then stops right? If that is what's happining it's the Xbox. Do you have a black or white Xbox? If its white it's time to get
a new Xbox. If its the black Xbox then it's the game and the 360. Their are only 2 things you can do at this point.

#1 get a new Xbox.

#2 call up Xbox live/ take the Xbox to a Game Stop and they will fix it for $35-70

Hardware wise, it can't be done to link an xbox one to the 360. However, if the game you want to play is backwards compatible, it could link up to the 360 game in the 360 through Xbox live. Offline and without Xbox live, it won't work.
