Can I play this game solo?

Hello everyone

I was thinking about picking-up this game for the Xbox 360. I know that you will need a Gold Membership to play this game because it is going to be like Halo 4 Spartan Ops, but will you be able to play solo? By playing solo, I mean that I'm all by myself.
No one can enter my game and no one else can know that I'm playing the game, basically like an off-line Campaign Mode. I really wanted to get Titanfall, but there is absolutely no such thing as a Single Player Mode and I really don't like playing multiplayer.
I very rarely play cooperative multiplayer and I hate PvP. Thank you very much for your assistance regarding this matter, I really appreciate it

As far as I know it is online only but you can lone wolf it if you choose too. You may run into random people and groups as there are boss battles that require teamwork to take down.

I certainly hope that you can play lone wolf style because boss encounters should take into account how many people (whether they are playing in a group or solo) are in the fight

you can play most of the story single player, there are strike missions that if your by your self it will pair you with two other people.

 

You can play on your own although you have to be online.

Even though you can play on your own you can't stop people from being in your game.

While travelling around you will see other players. Whether you join them or not is entirely up to you.

You can just pass them, interact with them or request to join a fireteam together which basically puts you in a co-op mode.

Also the tower where you buy your armor and weapons is basically a social hub. Here you can interact with other players or ignore them. It's entirely up to you.

I'm doing the beta on xbox one.

My games have so far been by myself, with the occasional random person (seriously I don't know them they aren't on my friends list or anything ) that you can't talk to (or hear their voice anyways) wandering around fighting as well.

So just don't be surprised to wander into other people. You don't have to actually follow them around or anything though.

I too don't like playing online, it's a shame this wasn't mentioned on the box - for me random people bouncing around takes away from the atmosphere of the game / story

My characters name is Rinoa Heartilly (Level 26 Warlock, Female Human) and I honestly don't mind running into other people; helping them out when a Public Event situation takes place. I just go about my own business and play the game solo

However, I do agree with you 1000% that the Campaign / Story Mode is now where near as well done as the ones in the Halo series. I love this game

Public events I do like to do with other people.

For other things? Unless I'm doing a strike (or if I ever do a raid), I usually just ignore other people.

Sometimes I do go over and shoot enemies with them. If I'm on patrol it's more likely to happen.

But for the most part, I just get out of their ways
