Can I play the streets of rage collection on my Xbox one?

As the title says.

I downloaded the golden axe collection ok. But when trying to download the streets of rage collection, there's no button to press to download it. Is it really only available on Xbox 360?? As that's what it says in the info box.

Unable to play Streets of Rage 2

I purchased Streets of Rage 2 for Xbox Live Arcade back in 2007.

Now when trying to play the game online with a friend today, we were greeted with a nice message telling us to purchase the Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage in order to play online.

I'm curious as to why I am unable to play Streets of Rage 2 anymore without purchasing the Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage?

Streets of Rage 2 is also not available for purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace anymore.

Streets of Rage Vintage Collection Problem

It's not a disc... It's a digital download.. SEGA vintage collection Streets of Rage.. It's a digital download.. No error message it just boots up the wrong streets of rage game... Streets of Rage 2 was available as an X Box Live Arcade game in 2007... I
owned it... The vintage collection was released in 2012 I think and contained all 3 streets of rage games.... The vintage collection is backwards compatible... However, when I boot up the vintage collection, it just plays the old X Box live arcade version
of streets of rage 2... It does not play the vintage collection. Does that makes sense at all?

I'm assuming you're talking about "Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage". I believe Xbox One Backward Compatibility should cover most (if not all) Arcade titles for the Xbox 360.

The link to the game on the Microsoft store appears to be compatible with the Xbox One:

Have you already purchased the game? If so, have you checked your "Ready to Install" list? You can find that by going to "My Games and Apps".

Streets Of Rage 2 has been out for years on Xbox Live! Look for the SEGA Vintage Collection on Marketplace. I have the game by itself when it was a stand alone game and I have it on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection
in Europe).

The issue isn't really about re-downloading games here, it's the fact that you now have to purchase the SEGA Vintage Collection to play Streets of Rage 2 online and for that, I'm not really sure what can be done... :-/
