Can I play the physical copy of my games on the PC?

If they are physical copies of Xbox games, no. They will not work on a PC.

No, the play anywhere titles can be played on both PC and XBOX only if you own the
digital version of the game. The physical version is not compatible between the systems. If you want to use a DVD you will need to buy one for the XBOX and one for PC.

If you own a physical copy for one system, you still need to buy another copy (be it physical or digital) to play it on the other system.

Unfortunately due to the copy being physical, your copy of sea of thieves can only be played on the Xbox one. If the game was purchased digitally then i believe that you would be able to play sea of thieves on both xbox and pc. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I prefer to own the physical copies of my games and will always prefer this. However, as I play mostly on PC I noticed a few years ago that I no longer had any physical media and couldn't find it in stores to buy.

Forza 7 came with my xbox. It is listed as a play anywhere game, so i'm trying to put it on my windows computer since the xbox stopped working. Unfortunately, the store doesn't recognize that i already own the game. Any help?

Do you have a physical or digital copy of Forza 7? The only Xbox One bundles i could find are ones that come with a physical copy of Forza 7.

The reason i ask is because if its a physical copy then this is why its asking you to buy it again for PC. Only the digital copies of eligible games would be play anywhere.
