Can I play on the Xbox Series X and my daughter play on the Xbox One at the same time?

My account is the main one. Hers is a sub-account or child account.

You would each need your own accounts. If you're trying to play on the same account, it won't work.

what happens when i want to use the home (series x) and send my kids to the xbox one?

my daughter is trying to play on the xbox one and it says i have to sign in, but i am in the other room playing the main (home) xbox series X

how do we work around this?

Yep. I have both my daughters using my old Xbox One X (which is setup as my home console) while I play on my Series X. Works a treat.

It's good, I managed to get it to work! I uninstalled the Series X version and transferred over the Xbox One version and now I can play the Xbox One version with all of my progress on my Series X. It's not the same as playing the Series X version with upgraded graphics but at least this way I can still keep playing my manager career on the new console without restarting.
