Can I play Minecraft with my kids on different consoles at the same time

Yes, but this can be only done with two consoles, it won't work with more.

Keep in mind that this is only allowed within the same household.

Please, make sure to set the account that has the subscription as the Home Console of the person who does not have it.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

To make this your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox.

as far as I'm aware it should be possible to play the same game at the same time on different devices via your own accounts, assuming there is no weirdness in the local network that may cause issues

You cannot be signed into the same account on both consoles at the same time. But you can share your games on whatever console is set as your Home console.

I bought Minecraft for windows long time ago and one person told me that If i have it in windows (xbox) I can also intsall it in my switch but I dont know why I cant install it I only have the buy option.

Help please I want to play with a kid that I care for.

There is 11 different versions (console types) of Minecraft. Each one is a separate purchase. While there is cross play between all of the types, it still requires a different purchase for each console (or PC) type.

the soulution to this is to make a second main account or let your kids take it in to play Minecraft
