Can I play Mechassault on my Xbox Series X?

No you cannot. The online servers are also down.

I feel your pain. I loved Mechassault and would love it if they brought it up to the Xbox One.

However, there is a free to play game called Hawken you should check out. It's pretty fun as is the Titanfall series.

I loved MechAssault series, although I haven't enjoyed a mech game since.

It's good, I managed to get it to work! I uninstalled the Series X version and transferred over the Xbox One version and now I can play the Xbox One version with all of my progress on my Series X. It's not the same as playing the Series X version with upgraded graphics but at least this way I can still keep playing my manager career on the new console without restarting.
