    i purchased minecraft on my windows 10 computer from the microsoft store and i wanna play it on my xbox one x.

    can i do that without buying another copy of minecraft???

    Hi, The game is not an xbox play anywhere game, so if you want to play the Xbox live version you will have to purchase the game again. As for the Xbox One edition, that game is no longer available on the store, so
    if you want to play it, you do need to purchase a disc version if you can find it.

    some games can be carried over between platforms but Minecraft isn't one of them, ones that are will have the "Xbox play anywhere" tag on them

    Unfortunately, only "Play Anywhere" can do that, you would need to buy another copy of the game.
