    I just built a new PC. it has windows 10 and the xbox app on it.

    I'm wondering if there is anyway for me to play say minecraft with my daughter? id play from my PC and she on the xbox.

    since we own the game digitally, can I just sign into our xbox account on the PC and be able to play with her?

    or...is xbox going to make me buy two copies of the games we want to paly, and two gold accounts to play games with my daughter in the same house? lol

    Sorry no, you can't. If you want that game on PC you need to pay again via a PC download site like Steam.

    I've searched but could not find a definitive answer, so please forgive me if this question has been answered previously.

    So if I purchased MGS: Phantom Pain on my Xbox 360 this weekend through xbox live marketplace and played it on my xbox, can I re-download the game to my PC through my xbox live account to play on the PC? or do I need to pay $59.99 all over again to play
    on two platforms?

    And if it is possible, how would I do it?

    You would have to purchase Minecraft for the PC in order to play it on the PC since it is not a Play Anywhere title. Only Play Anywhere games can be purchased once and played on both. Xbox Play Anywhere | Xbox

    you'd think you could but i think the new one is still in major trials cause i heard it was cross platform at E3 but it still got major bugs just on public release version.

    The Better Together update lets Minecraft owners play with other platforms.

    That doesn't mean if you have the game, you can download it on any platform

    Do you even have Windows 10? Clearly not because if you did you'd know how stuff worked, I have Windows 12 (staff release because of family) but it is the same as Windows 10, just like Windows Vista and 7. Anyway this isn't a Windows forum. Minecraft for
    PC should not be purchased, but rather Minecraft for Windows 10. Confusing, I know. Then, because of Windows 10 cross play, you would need to have your daughters account create a world, and then have the PC player join it.

    Yes it is possible I know this from first hand experience I have a wired xbox 360 controller and use it to play ALL of my games on my PC including when streaming my xbox One to my PC I can still play the Xbox One games. It is also plug and play so the
    PC should automatically recognize the controller and it acts (uses the same controller configurations) as if you were playing on the Xbox one.
