Can I play crossplataform Minecraft?

I have Minecraft in my PC and I usually play on Java Edition but I wanted to play with my little sis, she would play on xbox one and I already bought the game with my account (PhixKataclips).

Now when I start the game with Minecraft Launcher on my PC it tells me that I got Minecraft Java Edition and Minecraft for Windows, I chose both of them and I cant see her game neither she cant see my world.

I tried making up a server at aternos and she cant join either.

I dont have a subscription payment in xbox game pass, maybe is that? But I bought the game and I have had the game since 2010 i think.

Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Make sure that your sister has a Game Pass Core subscription (new name for Gold), otherwise she cannot play online multiplayer on Minecraft.

Hello Phix K! I'm Annanda and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

You can cross-platform, but aparently only on Bedrock edition, okay? Java edition can only play together with PC users.

Here are some steps on how to activate Cross-Platform:

Once you have launched Minecraft on the device of your choice, you will either need to create or load into a pre-existing world.

Next, you’ll need to access the in-game pause menu on your respective platform.

From here, click on the green ‘Invite to Game’ button located on the right side of the screen.

This will open a pop-up, listing all your in-game friends who are currently active and can be invited into your world.

Scroll down to ‘Online Cross-Platform Friends‘, select your friend’s name, and you’ll then be able to send them an invite.

In case you want to play with someone who’s not already a part of your in-game friend list, you will need to ask them for their Minecraft ID and send them a friend request before you can start playing with them.

i'm from Brazil and i have the same problem.

When I'm in a group with other Xbox the sound gets normal, but when I do group with someone from the PC (XBOX app) to play the crossplataform games, it gets an absurd squeal, please give us a Microsoft

I was exited in before E3 hoping to be on gamepass xbox. I still have the conquerors CD. I think with M&K we should get the game plus crossplataform multiplayer. It would be amazing.
