Can I play an Xbox one copy of Transformers Devastation on an Xbox Series X?

So I've been wanting to get back into the transformers games, mainly Fall of Cybertron, War for Cybertron, and Devastation, but I can't find/buy/play these titles digitally on my Xbox Series X due to the Activision licensing. So I bought Transformers Devastation for Xbox One, getting it delivered to me, and I was wondering if I could play it on my Xbox Series X if it will download and let me play it. As a big Transformers fan, I would love to be able to play these games again. Can't wait for Transformers Reactivated too.

Yes. With the exception of Kinect games, all Xbox One games will work on a Series S/X.

I bought Transformers Fall of Cybertron as a disc version and tried it on the Series X. However the dics says it cannot be played so I wanted to see about Transformers Devastation, before buying that game.

I have the Xbox 360 of Fall of Cybertron. And Transformers Devastation I will buy Xbox one version.

It is compatible with a Series X. It is not compatible with the One or a Series S since it doesn't have a disc drive.

According to my Xbox Series X|S, the disc is “incompatible”, and I can only play a compatible version of it if I pay $62.99 for a new copy WITH EA Play.

I miss the good old days when you had to unlock character skins by actually playing the game,not just buying them.

I find the Transformer games a bit hit or miss,a couple have been great fun but others have been awful.Shall just rent this one methinks.
