    Hello, I have Forza Horizon 4 and 5 through xbox gamepass. The subscription is expiring soon. I did but some expansions to these games on the xbox app. I do not have an xbox anymore, and do not wish to continue the subscription as many games are not supported on PC like they were on the console. I was hoping to see if I purchased the game on steam, if I would still be able to use the expansion? Or would the expansion not work as it is a different account? I am trying to keep my games in one game engine so I do not have to have many accounts and launchers on my computer.

    Hi Daniel I'm Luis a Xbox user just like you. Thanks for reaching out us here. Unfortunately your dlc would not carry over to steam as the platforms are not related :(

    unfortunately no, DLC has to be purchased on each. only DLC purchased for a playanywhere title can be played via Xbox console and Xbox app. you would need to purchase the DLC for steam.

    I bought the Steam version of Fable III and the expansions in 2014, but now I can't load the expansions in game or redeemed the Steam DLC keys in the Games for Windows Marketplace client.

    In the Games for Windows Marketplace client, I have this message "There was an error retrieving your purchase history"

    I hope that your staff can fix the problem because me and many others people are really frustrated, I longed to play Fable III with all expansions on my new 4K monitor.

    Play anywhere does not work with steam as steam is their own thing

    The reason why you can cross play on steam and xbox one is because of waypoint
