Can I move Xbox Game Pass(PC) games to another drive?

Im trying to move Halo: MCC(already installed on laptop)to another drive, without downloading. I live in rural america and my isp(hughesnet) is the only one available. My download speeds are usually in the kilobits, but thats beside the point. My workaround
is carrying my laptop around to wherever there is wifi, and downloading games from there. Then i can back them up to my external hdd, for use with my desktop which has much better performance. This works for steam, origin, blizzard etc. Im not seeing the option
to move game pass games, and the files themselves are hidden from me, even through viewing "Hidden" files. Is there any kind of workaround for this?

What if I buy Halo: MCC through Microsoft Store, would it somehow be visible then?

I do believe if you contact Xbox support they may be able to assist you more than the forums contact them at https://support.xbox.com/

Unfortunately this isn't possible with Game Pass or any Windows Store purchased games. The Windows Store uses encryption for all its downloads, and locks these downloads to one PC.

You can download the games to other PCs with your account and you can keep your purchased games across different PCs, but you can't share one download between two PCs as the files and folders are encrypted.

I know what you mean when you refer to how Steam and other's do it. When I built my new PC last year I simply put my old drive in my new PC case and just imported my old games. Unfortunately, Microsoft's downloads can not be used in this way.

Do you have another drive on your PC that could move the game to it? You can move the game in Windows Key + i>apps>select the game and click move

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand have question on moving games to different drive. There should be an option to move games when you go to Settings >
Apps > Apps & features. You then will select the game and select move to which drive you want. Important note: make sure to be logged in as administrator when trying to move.
