Can i make a new account without my account being locked just to play a game

I had a game on steam i haven't played in a few years and i reinstalled windows but still just transferred my game over on this game i have on steam it requires a Microsoft account so i forgot my old one since i had logged out of it the last time i had played years ago i tried making a new Microsoft account it lets me make a MS account and log in to play the game on my steam account but a day after i try to log into my account it just locks and requires a phone number and i don't really want to use a phone number for this MS account because i already have a main email on google for this and i just want to use this MS account for a single game lol i tried this again with another email and was locked out a day after. ANYWAY the real question is If i buy game pass for pc with a new account and my own credit card will my account be locked and ask for a phone number once again

Just a heads up that the phone number and an alternate email address is actually required for verification purposes and this is because of Microsoft's account security. If there are any problems to your account like you forget your account or password, it will be verified through that security proof. This is the reason why it is required and this is also to protect your account from being hacked.

To avoid being locked out, I would suggest including your security proofs for verification.

Ok I made a new yahoo account can I make my primary alias by using the xbox? Because when I make a new microsoft account it gives it account ( with the new email ) and when I try to link it without it being a microsoft account it says it is invalid

My account isn’t deleted its still there i’m just not able to access it. Im still able to play games on my account on my Xbox, but if I were ever to be locked out of the account I wouldn’t be able to get back in because the email doesn’t work anymore, so i’m wondering if theres a way to change the email without being able to access the account?

Well she told me to just make a new xbox live account. Can I make a new xbox live account with my current microsoft email without making a new email?

I want to make it where I can control everything without having to log into a parent account. The birthday on my account has never been changed.. however I was only 15 when I first created my account which is why it was child locked down. I just don’t know why it’s still locked down. I want to be able to make full use of my Xbox.
