Can I log out my account on xbox 360 without deleting it?

Good morning, I have one question, if you can log out of an account from xbox 360 without removing it, because I would like to buy a new console and it will log on to
it an old account from xbox 360. Is it possible?

Selling xbox one question

My understanding is that you get 2 licences, one for the Hardware and one for your live account.

The one which is attached to your live account means that if you go to someone else house log into there Xbox, you get access to your games until you log out.

The Hardware licence is attached to your Xbox and anyone who logs on even a second buyer.

That being said, the reason I stated that it is attached to your live account is that you would want to do a Factory reset? I think if you do that, you may have issues re-downloading the content initially without logging on using the user licence first. I'm not sure though and am not factory resetting my console to find out.

Just as a heads up, I would not just delete your account from the Xbox before selling it, I would do a factory reset and clear the cache. Maybe that's just me being paranoid.

So i wanted to login to my old xbox account on my 360 but i cant remember my 4 digit passcode anyway i can get through it without deleting my data?

Hi there,

if the account is an Xbox Live account, you will be able to use that account on any console you like if you use the same email address (and password) to download the account on that console.

Keep in mind that if save games are stored locally on the console and not in the Cloud (Gold only feature) then your save games will not automatically be availbable.

If your save games are saved in the Cloud then they will be available to be used on every console where you use your account, as long as the console is connected to Xbox Live.

I was able to resolve this issue by logging onto my Xbox 360 and deleting pins. They were maxed out at 200. Deleted all pins and now I can pin from anywhere including the console and Xbox app.
