Thanks for all the swift replies but unfortunately i don't think changing my password will do much since she had her own account that she uses from playing on other x-boxes previously and she didn't have access to my microsoft account anyway.

Apply a passcode for your Xbox screen name to sign in. That way only the person with the code can access your account.

Unfortunately, there is no way to "lock" or restrict usage of the console itself.

I suggest contacting local authorities regarding the theft of your console.

Unfortunately the only method available is what others have suggested. There is no way to lock it down, but I think it'd be smart for Microsoft to do something like this in the future. You could try contacting support to see if anything can be done, but
all us ambassadors are told is that changing the password is the only way to protect your account when you no longer have the console.

Your only options to get the console are to get it yourself or file a police report.
