    Can I license transfer Destiny to a friend and still get it on xbox one.


    I have a friend who wants destiny. I want to upgrade to Xbox one in about a month, so if I license transfer, will I still be able to download it on xbox one for free.

    Licenses on Two Xboxs

    I am between homes and recently got a new xbox for my second home, my friend told me that I can simply "License Transfer" on my new xbox to get all the downloads I have on my other xbox onto my new one.

    The question I have is will I still have those licenses on my 'first' xbox after I License Transfer? Seeing as how I regularly delete and redownload on my 'first' xbox, I want to know if I can still redownload and still keep the licenses to all those downloads
    on my 'first' xbox after I License Transfer all the content I bought onto my new xbox.

    A friend of mine has destiny on xbox one, I have it on 360. We both have a xbox 360. Can my friend get destiny on 360 and transfer his lvl 20 warlock over to 360 so we can play together? until I get enough money for a xbox one. or is it only 1 way? from
    360 to the one?

    Is Microsoft (or the account owner) capable of doing a precision license transfer?

    When doing a license transfer to another console you have no choice as to what is or is not moved.

    With that being said (and I can't guarantee this has not been changed) when I had a second console in my house I did a license transfer to the family console. Only licenses for content that I redownloaded after the transfer were transferred.

    Say for instance you have CoD: AW and Destiny but only want to move the license for Destiny. Do the license transfer and then download Destiny.

    If nothing has been changed anyone will be able to play CoD on the first console and anyone can play Destiny on the second console. But, as I said, I can't guarantee that will work anymore as it's been quite a few years since I needed to do a license transfer
    to a separate console.

    A license transfer is when you get a new xbox, and you need to transfer content over. This is because licenses are tied to the gamertag AND console. You use the transfer to switch licenses between consoles, but still with the same gamertag.

    You can't transfer content to a friend's account.

    EDIT: Also, that code indicates that your account is locked for some reason.

    All DLC comes with two licenses. A console license, and an account license. If your friend purchased the DLC from that console, you can still play it without doing a license transfer.

    The Game Downloaded won't play on other profiles.

    I'm having the same problem! Except, I couldn't play it. It would just say can't be launched. But I transferred the license and it still didn't work.. My boyfriend downloaded "Destiny" on his xbox360, then turned around and transferred the license to mine
    so I could play it. But it still wont let me play at all..
