Honestly just don't overcharge like don't leave it 24/7 because at some point it's definitely gonna damage the battery and probably affect the battery life, just an advice charge it and once it's full just remove the charger, also while gaming for a while I recommend removing the battery and keeping the charger cable plugged in, it's just better that way unless you're out and not home, anyways good day ✌🏻

That would entirely depend on your laptop manufacturer, but any charging you do would likely be a minimal given the power requirements of a 3070
