Can I inherit my uncle's Xbox games?

My uncle passed away 2 years ago now. My family decided the Xbox he had should be passed to me. It worked well up until I updated a few months ago. The Xbox will start up but then I get a black home screen and the controller menu. Unfortunately, if I factory reset the Xbox, I will loose all the games my uncle had. With a death certificate and some proof of relationship, is there anyway those games can be transferred to me or have access to his Xbox account? It means a lot to me because we use to play some of the games he had online together.

The games can't be transferred between accounts but if your family members passed away, then you can follow a procedure stablished by Microsoft to take control over his account

OK, thanks. So, I create a new MS account for her. Can I then rename or delete the gamertag in my account so that she can use it in hers? If not, then she can get a new one, but will lose the games she has already started with her uncle (two uncles now). That wouldn't be a game-changer, though.

It was redeemed on my account on my uncle's xbox one, not on my uncle's account.
