    Can I get the old XBOX mobile app back?


    I hardly ever participate on the community pages. I came here to say that the new app has NONE of the features I use. NONE.

    Please offer the old XBOX mobile app as a parallel XBOX Classic app, or something. Or just get rid of the new app altogether.

    For now I uninstalled.

    Hi there, all people in mobile devices have this problem, Xbox app in New version of Xbox app for mobiles not supported sending captures, I recommend if you want you can install a old version of Xbox app, and install Xbox app beta, so then you have new and old versions

    Im trying to get my old xbox account back for the purchases off store but it has the 2 step verification on it and i dont have the mobile number anymore. All i know is the email address and gamertag.

    so without the mobile number i cannot get my old account back?

    Hi Milady Curtsey,

    The issue is due to the mobile app trying to load old chat threads which it was not designed to do, while messages everywhere else will load the old legacy threads without issue. The solution would be to delete old Xbox Live message threads either
    directly from an Xbox One console, or on the Xbox Live website (https://account.xbox.com/en-US/Social).

    Once you clear up old message threads, clear the cache on your mobile device and try loading up your messages again on the Xbox mobile app. You can follow this
