can i get points for haveing a high gamer score

i was wondering if can get reward points for having a high gamer score

Bug: Hexic

Timed mode, normal, make 1 combo. If the time runs out you get 5 points. So...you only made one combo. Do this and it says, "NEW HIGH SCORE," "Congratulation! You have a new high score on the Xbox Live leaderboards!!"

Ok, so it's not a new high score. 5 points is no one's highest score. If you played for 2 seconds you'd have a higher score. It is not displayed on the leaderboards. It is not new.

So what is it that changed in the Join in Progress?

well i do know that in BTIS/IS that you can JIP all the way up till the halfway point in the score .... which means that you can be thrown into that game when the score is 500-220 .....but by the time you actually get INTO the game and get yourself acclimated,
the score can be 600-265 which hardly leaves you enuf time to get a high score, which makes it very hard to keep a high CSR going ...... i dont think 343 gave us any great change in the JIP, it still makes it very hard to get a top score when you arrive that
late in the game

We are no longer rewarded for earning gamerscore, or having a high gamerscore. Those changes too effect in 2014.

Yeah but the best way to get a high team/squad score is by using loads of tanks & choppers (with a team/squadmate, obviously), so that's not the 100 % truth either IMO...
