Can I get my unlocked gamer pics back after deleting them?

We understand you have question on your deleted old gamertag, you want to get it back.

Yes, you may try and change the gamertag and see if the old one is still available and if meets the new gamertag criteria, it should be available.

Do me a favor, go to your hard drive (on the dash) you will see the categories like Games, Demo, Themes and Gamer Pics.

Scroll down all of the pics and packs you ever downloaded or unlocked from a game. Make sure you look carefully.

If you find it/them, I want you to see if it lets you copy or move the file to a memory card/usb drive.

If you can copy or move it, please do so....then delete that same file from the hard drive. If each picture was unlocked by a separate action, you will definitely be searching for 2 separate files.

So when they are copied to your memory card, delete them from your hard drive and then back out and load the game.

Most of these games that give you an unlockable gamer pic will normally give it to you again when then game loads up or when at the main menu.

I remember deleting pics from Small Arms, Undertow and when I played the games again, It would unlock them instantly...So hopefully that might work for you too.

Now here is the thing though, I asked you to see if you can back them up just in case this does not fix your problem.

Let's say you find the 2 gamerpics on your hard drive but you cant copy or move them...I dont want to tell you to just delete them and then have you be upset because they did not unlock again when you booted up the game.

I really liked what Bioware did with Mass Effect chievs with certain of them unlocked ingame bonuses and the higher diff chievs unlocked gamer pics.

There is no way to get those gamerpics back with your current profile, not even by finishing the game again on those difficulties. This is because you'll already have the achievements required to unlock them.

Only way to get them back is to play the game through on another profile. Once unlocked you can use the pics on any account.
