    Can I get my account back and the email changed almost 4 years later?


    Back in December of 2020 I was switching between Gta 5 and Sea of Thieves when at some point my xbox restarts, upon restarting when I try logging in it says I need to type in a password which I normally would do however the email was somehow changed to different one which I have never seen. I tried contacting support via mobile twice to see if they could help and when I told them about my account they say they couldn't find it however you can still find it by looking it up which I find strange. Is there a way I can get the email changed to my current one and close this xbox account to use my email? The account I am trying to recover is called YaBoiAlex#7025 and it has a bendy pfp, the only screenshots I have is one from 2019 pre bendy pfp and one that I took yesterday to see if the account still existed, Am i too late to get it back or is there still chance?

    When I've first done it I have 12 and that was 3 almost 4 years ago. I understand now why changing the color in my hair was a not fair for some players. But I never cheated in a game all i did was change one color. I must say alleast im still dedicated
    of getting my account back.

    Unfortunately the hacker changed my email to theirs and my microsoft/xbox account is completely locked. I’ve been trying to get back in for almost three weeks.

    I can get into the security options, but as soon as I select one, it's asking me again to verify myself by sending an email to the account I can't access anymore. Almost any option I choose under my settings brings me back to verifying who I am through an email address I can't access. My main email isn't an issue, I can get into my account all day long, it's trying to change anything I seem to be stuck. I made my account a long time ago, and only bought an Xbox in the last year or 2.

    UA going on over 4 months still no resolution

    Yeah I received that email back on December 22nd. Wasn't until January 9th that I got the final email with the directions to setting my account back up. So almost 3 weeks later. In all it was 6 months for me.

    Hello again, since you don't remember the email from the account that owns your Game Pass, you should try to remember what the account is or follow the steps below to see if you can find the email you used for the account.

    a. Recover using your Alternate phone number or email address:

    1. All you need to do is to go to https://account.live.com

    2. Click on Sign in

    3. Choose sign in options

    4. Choose Forgot my username from there you will be ask for alternate email or phone number that you use with that account, if you enter it correctly then you will be able to see the right email for your account.
