Can i get more than 2GB of storage on minecraft for switch?

If you need more space and you have already tried to delete your unused worlds, try to check your in-game storage. Go to Minecraft Settings > Storage > and try to delete any packs or templates that you currently don't use so that you will have more space.

I have not had any recent updates.

There are more than 2gb free on each storage device.

I cleared my system cache.

I downloaded my profile again (and was signed in).

None of that has helped

Yea I'm aware of the storage limit, I was monitoring it during the moment when I perform the backup. The storage was indeed sufficient. Did a lot of deletion to ensure the space is sufficient.

So now there's more than 2gb,even one file of under 5mb wasn't uploaded. Any ideas?

The problem may occur because the game is more than 2GB, and on cloud transfer, you can't transfer files more than 2GB.

There used to be a thing in one of the support articles that said the following:

"If your console shows you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and you need assistance, select Help when you see the message, Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception."

But i dont see this mentioned in any of the support documentation anymore so i dont know if its a thing anymore.

That being said other than what i posted above there is no other way to get extra switches other than simply waiting.

5 switches per year should really be more than enough though unless you are using it in a way that it wasnt intended for.
