Can I get help fixing my brother's minecraft version type?

I have submitted a support ticket for this problem about 2 months ago and the support had no idea what it is.... We had a 4 day long thread about it and finally they gave up and told me that I should submit a ticket for the developers so they fix it.

Last time I tried reinstalling was about a month ago, and guess what, the bug was still there. I also tried to see if it is an account problem by downloading Minecraft on a different PC and logging into my account and I didn't had the bug there.

I really recommend using BadLion or another client, that's the only way I could play on my PC.

Hi' I have a problem at the very beginning when I enter the main page minecraft Java edition. The latest release is not showing the minecraft versions. So I though was not a big deal then an error pop up saying " Name: No_Such_Version, Error details: Invalid version type". I uninstall it and reinstall it back it still say the same thing. I when to delete the launcher profile. For a new profile to be creating it still not working.

Hi. I have the same problem. I downloaded Minecraft today (I had an account for a while but didn't play recently) and I ran into this problem. I tried restarting, repairing, reinstalling, and doing some stuff ChatGPT suggested and nothing worked. I submitted a Minecraft support ticket today. Did they answer you? What did they come up with?

Your brothers would have to make an account on the pc version of Minecraft because the pc version of Minecraft and Xbox version of minecraft are two different servers.
